The Recovery CD allows you to recover your computer or files, verify backup images are good and also has rudimentary partition editing capability. Otherwise you would need to create a Custom CD. To check if the default recovery CD will work for you, simply boot off the recovery CD (after you burn it with the ISO image) and if the recovery environment can recognize all your hard drives and such then you are all set. Please note that if you have 64 bit windows you would need to get the 32 bit version of any drivers before you can create a Custom recovery CD. In either case you will need to have created the initial recovery CD as explained earlier before you can create the Custom version, or again the Ghost CD serves as the initial recovery CD if you purchased the boxed version of Ghost. Did you purchase the download version of Ghost or the boxed version? If you purchased the boxed version, then the install CD doubles as your Recovery CD. You need the recovery CD so that you can boot from it. The backups are are doing are just for recovering your hard drive.
